Are Our Stores Dog Friendly?
As dog owners ourselves, we know how difficult it can be to go shopping with your fur baby (or babies!). Whether you’re trying to grab a coffee, some food shopping or simply want to browse, it isn’t always clear whether or not dogs are always welcome.
This is where we come in – all 9 of our stores are totally dog friendly. From Lerwick to Perth, as long as your small or large dogs are on a lead they will be welcomed into our shops with open arms and lots of hugs.
Things to think about before taking your dog shopping
Of course, as mundane as shopping may sometimes be for us, it is always likely to be an exciting adventure for your dog and so it is up to you as to whether or not you think your pup is up to it.
Here are a few things to think about before taking your dog shopping:
- Be aware that not all customers may feel comfortable with dogs walking about, even if you know that they will do no harm.
Alternatively, make sure that your dog feels comfortable around people too. Our stores can get very busy, especially around sale time, so keep this in mind. - Shoes are our thing and there is a well- known fact that some dogs like to chew shoes. If your dog is one of those perhaps keep them close to you – we don’t want any pooch getting a new pair for free!
- If you have a small dog it might be a good idea to hold them as you wander about to avoid any little paws being stepped on.
